He proudly rooted himself in Miramichi, growing up on Duke Street and graduating from James M. Hill Memorial High School. His pursuit of knowledge led him to the University of New Brunswick, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering, setting the foundation for a distinguished career.
In 1984, Randy became a Professional Engineer, a credential that reflected his dedication, integrity, and professionalism. Over the years, he served with unwavering commitment, earning respect within the engineering community and beyond. As a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB), he took pride in upholding the highest standards of his profession, always striving to make a positive impact through his work.
Yet, Randy’s greatest pride was his family. For 47 years, he shared his life with his high school sweetheart, Glenda, and their marriage of 42 years was a source of immense joy. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter, support, and shared dreams. His devotion as a husband, father, and grandfather was evident in every aspect of his life. He found his greatest happiness in his children—Christopher, Patrick, John, and Joey—and his beloved grandchildren, CeCe, Maggie, and Felix.
A sports enthusiast, Randy’s passion extended beyond watching games. He actively played recreational sports, coached young athletes, and encouraged others to embrace the joy of play. His volunteer coaching helped shape the lives of many young people, fostering teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
