Tyler Bray Indianapolis, IN Death,Obituary,Man Dies After Self-Transporting to Hospital Following Shooting
INDIANAPOLIS — A man died Saturday morning after checking into an east side hospital with gunshot wounds, prompting parallel police investigations at the medical center and a nearby intersection.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to Community East Hospital on North Ritter Avenue just after 6 a.m. after receiving a report of a gunshot victim who had arrived there. Officers located the injured man, identified by IMPD as Tyler Bray, who later died from his wounds.
Police data indicates Bray may have been injured in a shooting near South Spencer Avenue and East Washington Street. A crew observed an active police investigation in the 600 block of South Spencer Avenue Saturday morning. According to a police report, officers were initially dispatched to that intersection around 5:29 a.m. for a shooting investigation, which IMPD is now examining as a homicide.
At the scene, police towed a red 2015 Buick sedan. The vehicle’s potential involvement remains unclear. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency was also present but did not explicitly connect their work to the hospital incident.
No suspect information has been released, and IMPD has not provided additional details on the ongoing investigations at the hospital or the South Spencer Avenue scene.
