Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Respond , As Two Shot in Palmdale; Suspect Flees on Foot
PALMDALE, Calif. — A Friday evening shooting in a Palmdale residential area left two people wounded and authorities searching for a suspect who fled on foot.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the incident near 25th Street East and Old Harold Road around 6:25 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire and two victims. Deputies and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived to find the two injured individuals. They were treated at the scene by emergency medical responders before being transported to a local hospital. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.
Authorities are actively searching for the shooter, described only as a male Hispanic wearing a blue Nike sweater and black pants. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect running northbound through the apartment complex immediately after the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing. Sheriff’s officials have not released any information regarding a potential motive or the relationship between the suspect and the victims. Anyone with information is urged to contact the LASD.
